Dear Google...

Thank you for dropping my sites out of the search engine for poor quality content.

The pages you do rank truly do have better content than mine and deserve to out rank me.
familyland.net/community/index.php?topic=57353.0

Sincerely,

I fucking hate you

CamsMaster 04-14-2011 10:45 AM

carzygirls 04-14-2011 11:02 AM

go to google forum... you will be inundated with reply's about how bad you suck and should have better quality and to stop breaking the rules.

Here is the responses you will get:

1) I see that you have canonical issues
2) Provide quality site because I see ... blah blah worthless comments inserted here
3) Did you read the "Guidelines"?
4) You have a lot of errors in your source code... check worthless url here to fix.
5) There are also a lot of yahoos that will tell you your site is not as good as the top so look at there sites to see what they do

There is only 1 guy on that entire forum worth a shit... his name is Phil... find him and ask him wtf to do

Chris 04-14-2011 11:03 AM

All quality sites were boosted ahead. All shitty low quality sites lost ranking. Do the math.

not true at all if you knew anything about the latest update.

who decides if a google update actually delivered better results? google does.

it's a closed feedback loop.

Everyone i know with properly developed sites, who took the time with content and structured link building over the years had their rankings boosted up.

this may not go for everyone. but most of the people i see complaining about it have low quality sites.

no one knows the algorithm fully in and out. but if google did the update to pull better results the fact is that the majority of newer serps will have better results. that is the entire point of the update.

fatfoo 04-14-2011 11:35 AM

It's bad for you Google did not like your site. Good luck. In some cases, you can email Google to have your ranking restored.

This in not correct... RabbitsReviews is a quality site their SERP has dropped at Google! He was on the first page for any porn pay site name and I can not find it anymore! :disgust

carzygirls 04-14-2011 11:46 AM

What is not correct?

So because RabbitsReviews is not listed google is not correct? that is hilarious to me.

i said majority not all. i still see quality sites listed for "porn pay site".

roganoli 04-14-2011 12:55 PM

Sorry... my english is horrible! I could not understand his reasoning previous! I do not meant "porn pay site" keyword.

For example... Rabbits was on the first page to "sapphic erotica", "reality kings", "naughty america" and many others and is no longer there! And their reviews is the best in original and quality content.

That's what I meant...

TheDoc 04-14-2011 01:11 PM

This update hit a ton of very good quality sites that contained all original content and it boosted some very crap sites as well. That is without question to anyone who watches the serps. Normally major changes like this take a week or two to settle in, and Google normally tweaks a few things once they see it going. So don't hit the panic button just yet.....

Tom_PM 04-14-2011 01:13 PM

MetaMan you are making a point that it's googles decision and thats final. I dont think anyone disagree's with that.

I see a lot of public head scratching and a site like Rabbits should email IMHO to ask WTF is not quality about our site, or words to that effect.

halfpint 04-14-2011 01:17 PM

If I type in the word "porn" in google the first page consists of the biggest tube sites including youtube and myspace lol

If I type in "free porn" the first page consists of the big tube sites

If I type in "amateur porn" the first page consists of the big tube sites and few amateur sites who have uploaded movies to pornhost

If I type in "teen porn" the first page consists of tube sites and a few fake tube tgps

Absolutly awesome :)

A review is basically nothing more than an aggregated news site... look across the review sites at the same exact reviews. Often the thumbs have the same name - the same shot, sections/niches/sub-sections are the same names, titles are the same, same sponsored content, same sponsor links... even if the update is a 1000 words, half of the words are the same thing across 10 other review sites...

Tubes took a hit because many aren't unique.. they "look" unique, but once you remove the look they're the same content and often words, as 10,000 other tubes.

The major guys didn't take a hit because they buy content now and traffic volume is god.

This makes a lot of sense, all of my sites hit were review sites, gives me some thinking to do! Thanks :)
