Post pictures of your REALISTIC dream house

Let's see what kind/style of house you would like to own, maybe you already are living in it, if so congrats. Must be under 1 million dollars - not looking to see penthouses in Dubai, castles in Scotland etc - interested to see what people would choose as their realistic dream home.

There was a 1.3 million house about 10 miles from my current house. It overlooked a golf course, was really nice.

1.3 million is reachable.

yeah, i thought of making the limit 2m or 1.5m - just wanted to make it realistic for the wide array of people working in porn. probably only 2 or 3% of adult webmasters own homes over 1 mil.

Under a million is tough for a dream house in this area. My sister has a $1.3 million house in Ladera Ranch, its nice but not a dream home.

that can't be true, I can find what most people would consider a dream home in any city other than Manhattan. i'm not talking mansions, my dream house would never be a mansion, don't see any point in having over 3000 sq feet unless you have a bunch of kids.

Rochard 04-16-2011 10:55 AM

I love my house.

3k sq feet, two garages, model home. Custom closets and more room than what I know what to do with. Big enough so we have space, but not big enough so that I get lost.

There's some amazing stuff in Vegas in the $500k range.

Mutt 04-16-2011 11:04 AM

well if you already own a home over 1M post pics so we can see what you get in different cities at that price.

still say you can get a dream home for 1M in any city, it may be a townhouse or condo if you're in super expensive city like downtown San Francisco but still a dream home.

When my dog is sick, that's generally the colour of it, same as the house.

My last house was for sale for 1.9 Million when I started the long term lease. The owner offered to carry the loan & sell it to me for $30k down. I had the money and we were going over the paperwork when the real estate crash hit in Oct 2008. Good thing my lawyer is a stickler for details. Eventually the house forclosed and the bank paid me $10k to move out and it sold for only $390k!!!

I told the new owner I'd buy it from him whenever he wanted to move. Loved that place. The best part of it was not looking "at" the house - but AWAY from it like in these shots.

Grapesoda 04-16-2011 05:11 PM

love the place I'm in now even though it's a maintenance nightmare for the owner... and it's like trying to aircondition and heat a screen box... that and the fucking bugs and wild animals running all over the place... sold for 2 mil in 2004... not worth that now... but I really love the place. I wish I could afford to buy the palce.
