Lawsuit Against TacoBell dropped but.........

reading the story it's hardly a victory.

of all the fast food urban myths, the only ones that have an effect on me are about TacoBell. since they have an open kitchen like most fast food restaurants I've seen the kids bring in the plastic bags of the 'beef filling' and it's a grayish brown pile of mush.

they've changed their description of their beef filling because of the lawsuit.

Ain't labeling laws a bitch? Anyway, those filled oats TASTE GOOD!

Seriously, maybe they should come up with vegan entrees or at least a "healthy" menu. Im sure there's a market for that.

The fucking taco bell by me closed down in December. I'm pissed.

Taco Bell taste like shit. I don't see how anyone could eat it. Even compared to other fast food it's shit.

I took a short cut through a Taco Bell parking lot on Sunday morning around 9am, and was amazed to see cars in the drive-thru line... what kind of moron wants to eat Taco Bell for breakfast?

Oats add fiber and are actually the healthy portion of the completed product.

I enjoy their seasoned beef more than any other restaurants.

Taco Bell beef is not too bad.

SmokeyTheBear 04-19-2011 07:16 PM

the lawsuit was voluntarily withdrawn by the firm. no money was exchanged and it is not changing any of its products or advertising.

cherrylula 04-19-2011 07:26 PM

you can bet a deal was made. and they did change the description according to the article, to 88% beef

TacoBell also spent 3-4 million dollars on newspaper ads defending their product.

The best thing about Taco Bell--their HOT Sauce. Not the mild version, the hot sauce. It is an homage to the state of the art chemistry and food synthesis arts of post-WW II American science.

vending_machine 04-19-2011 09:37 PM

I really don't eat fast food anymore. I don't trust my health to those corporations, they have the bottom line in mind not quality products. Haven't had it in years.
