Cheapest way to get netflix on the tv?
Can I buy an old tivo box and use it to subscribe to netflix?
They want netflix "on the tv" and I don't want to have to put a computer in there |
I'm using an Apple TV 2 for netflix.

If you have an xbox360, wii, or ps3 you can use them to get netflix

Oh I didn't see that .. ha ha ha I hadn't reloaded the page when I posted just now |
You can buy internet/Google TV's that have it on there.
I have a Sony Internet TV. It comes with a keypad remote. Kind of tricky. But you can pick NetFlix from the menu and stream videos among many other things. |
My tv came with netflix app. Its awesome.

Either use the free Wii/PS3/Xbox app, or the Roku is $59.
I'm using my Wii for streaming and it works great, but going to add a Roku here soon for a second tv. |

The Roku works well for parents, and elderly - however, the new 'all shows by show name' modification they've made means that trying to watch 'Cheers' means a 6 minute 'wait while we see what episode info we have'.
Roku is 'Six' in Japanese. Now I know why. |

I love the roku. That thing gets more use than the xbox and cable box combined.

I wish I could find one fucking thing on Netflix instant to watch. It's all crap. |
I use my Xbox but sometimes I also just hook my laptop up to my TV with a video cable lol. Only problem is the sound comes out of the laptop.
