question: are Knicks going to be swept?

Not that it would surprise me :1orglaugh

btw: Melo 25% FG
Amare 20% FG

Go C's!!!! (and lose the finals against Spurs!) :thumbsup

well, wih 19 points down it really looks like it! :1orglaugh

BloodFart 04-22-2011 06:26 PM

celts up by 23 right now, safe to say this one is in the bag.

harvey 04-22-2011 06:32 PM

Paul Pierce: 6'7'', 98 years old, 1 thousand injuries: 38 pts, 14-19 FG
Melo: 6'8'', 27 years old athletic healthy guy in his prime defending the old guy above: 11 pts, 4-16 FG :1orglaugh

No surprise Denver got better automatically after losing Melo! :1orglaugh

34 and a half :winkwink:

anyway, I was making a point on how Cs are "old and wasted" and how young hyped Knicks would roll over them.

On a side note, Rondo is ridiculous :bowdown

I would be surprised if the Knicks are not swept. They are the green team and it's showing.

It's a tradition.

Now seriously, how comes that 99% of basketball world saw this coming and Knicks FO didn't notice? I mean, they don't have Isaiah anymore, they don't have any excuses! Getting Amare= good. Getting Melo= good. Getting Amare AND Melo= absolute fail. 2 guys that will fight each other for the ball, won't play a single minute of D and kill a team chemistry without even trying? Really?

Anyway, I see Melo as the new T-Mac: lots of talent and an absolute failure that will never have any success with his teams

I know what your point was...
But he's still only 33.
Not only that, melo is 26 not 27.
:)

Pierce is up and down offensively - and has been for a while. He'll have his good days and bad days - but he'll still be a factor, even on his down days.
The real key (other than Shaq coming back, of course) is Ray Allen. He's 35, and usually plays like he's 25. If he continues playing anywhere near like he did today --- :thumbsup :thumbsup

(Oh, and now that Iverson is spending his time trying to give away cars when he's stopped by the cops lol - Melo is the heir apparent to the "all-potential, no-rings" title.)

of course
