The .com extension is king, as posted in another thread, .com is owned by verisign.

ICANN doesn't even run .com.

More extensions are coming then once the money has been made on all those it will be "right of the dot" custom extensions.

ICANN will just dilute and dilute until you can get firstname.lastname etc this makes them money.

or, if we sneak up, in the dead of night, and park the truck down the road, it is possible...

But we would need a few of us, and who can you trust these days? I mean, I dunno, I cant trust anyone with a fart, so with a weapon?

Its a questionable situation to be sure, but if we want to kill, we can. We just need to be sure that the authorities dont find out.

No chance, speculators will buy up the domains if you don't. Its not killable at this point.

Death only comes when all the speculators can't sell what they have bought and don't pay the renewals.

ICANN is in charge. Verisign is the sole registry operator by agreement of ICANN. Here's the agreement:
