Anyone ever try Concerta?
 

My friend swears by it. He said he got more work done in 2 weeks than he did in 2 years when he took it. Was thinking about getting a script from my doctor.

I took it once, my son was on it and I wanted to understand his wild mood swings. I don't know if taking one pill, once is anything to base an opinion on, but basically I felt like shit. Kind of hard to describe, I really hated life that day and have no desire to ever take another one.

Fuck the drugs...

Offcoz you felt like shit, that stuff is for people that have a form of ADHD..
The stuff was made to fix connections between slow working neurotransmitters..

Btw, my son has ADHD and uses it as well and it makes him a lot more calm and focused.

Until you have a child with ADHD and you tried everything in your power to help him and nothing worked..

This.. :2 cents: I have 2 kids with ADHD; however, neither of them have been on Concerta. One is on Intuniv and the other on Vyvanse which has done wonders for them since starting them. They tried a lot of other stuff before the doc finally got the right drug that worked for them. It's like night and day for them. They went from making D's and F's and getting in constant trouble at school to being on the honor role. They can focus much better now and the list goes on. Anyone with a child that has ADHD knows what I'm talking about. I suspect I may have ADD myself and have an appointment with the doc this week. So we will see.

I am pretty sure I have some form of ADD. I cant even watch TV without browsing GFY or Reddit at the same time while I play poker with one hand on a separate PC.

The reason my son was going nuts on it is cause he hated it too, and would intentionally forget to not take it all the time.
