I know google changed things around and sites that have a lot of duplicate content are getting hit hard.
I only know a little about seo. Does this refer only to text, google has doesn't do anything to determine data with images does it? I'm just wondering about this.

It's a good topic really, I mean news sites just get their content from AP so they are almost nothing but duplicates.

The first news source gets the big plus and all others get hit.

I think the bog thing is to add some unique images, make sure the text and tags are not the same.

there is ways to use shared text without it getting flagged as a duplicate. I can tell you secrets but mainly you need to reconstruct the content and don't use auto grabbing scripts.

It's stupid to use duplicate content when there have been plugins to respin that shit for years now.

People got what they deserved. Yes I read Gene's link but if you're smart you can still spin your way out of it. If you're not too damn lazy.
