Russian spam notwitchstanding, it's still the best fastest lightest IM where most of the industry logs in.

Mainstream/non-industry/newbs seem to sit on the MSN thing...

the only thing I never liked about ICQ is seems sometimes the names I would assign to people would randomly disappear and everyone would just be a number.

Just wish I could block all that annoying Russian spam

Yep. Still use it and Skype both. I have to chuckle though when someone hits me up on ICQ to ask if they can call me on Skype. ;)
