Android or Iphone?
So the time has come for a phone upgrade and I'm wondering what y'all think is better and why: Android or Iphone.
Thanks!:helpme |
I've been happy with the iphone. 5th gen rumored to be out in June.
Android of course ;)
Until about 6 weeks ago I would scream that iPhone is the best, however, I'm getting more and more frustrated as newer Android phones hit the market. I have iPhone 4 and I do love it, but I just think you can get a much better phone now than iPhone 4.
I think there is a few nice phones coming out in June, so maybe you should try and hang on for another month. I'm defo getting a 4G phone when I upgrade. |
Not a single complaint about the iphone4. Perfect phone/mobile device.
Picked up a Samsung Galaxy a couple days ago to play around with. Wanted to poke around with Android and see what the majority of smart phone consumers are using. No feedback yet on it. |
Iphone ...
I am pretty happy with my HTC Thunderbolt. I have never played around with an iPhone though.
Functionality is not an issue for modern Android devices, but still they lack softness and smooth movement, precise touch and response Iphone offers.

the iphone is a great phone for sure---- but there's only one. I like the amount of choices Android has.
You still can't run adobe flash applications with iPhone, right?

Go iphone.
Android still has lots of bugs, my Samsung Galaxy S was awesome for a while then it kept crashing, freezing so I said fuck it and bought a Blackberry. |
android ftw

I ended up throwing my iPhone into a Wood chipper trying to send a text mesasge because the keyboard was fucked up when i was doing some tree work. I like my little Nokia E72 :)

My GF has Android and really cant stand it compared to the iphone. She only keeps it because Tmobile does not have the iphone.

Just got back from APPNation. Apparently, Android is the way to go. It is the most popular.

If you get a droid get the right one is the key. Get an EVO or Thunderbolt.
Having owned both, I'd recommend getting an Iphone, the battery life is a key factor in my decision.
Owned both, droid wins hands down. Plus I still have all that hate in me about MAC making me jailbreak it to work with a descent provider and trying to force the ATT issue. MAC constantly talking bullshit how they do everything they can to try and block the evil pornworld and their apps. And when I went to originally buy it at the apple store them telling me that they wouldn't except cash for an iphone purchase and I had to use my credit card even though I was just purchasing the phone equipment and not the service.
Shit I'm on contract with stupid Windows Mobile 6,5 (what the fuck was I thinking?) can't wait to get something with Android and start developing apps for it too!

I recommend Android
Had plenty of iPhones and will never ever go back to it after experiencing the freedom with Android.
Sure if you don't want choices or freedom, go with iPhone. My gf LOVES her iPhone 4 |
If you want to be really custom and write your own apps and sell them yourself then go Android. Otherwise go with the norm. Iphone4
Iphone :winkwink:
ANDROID!
IPhone is awesome as well, but between the 2...Android! |
moto atrix android.
whatever you do, stay away from blackberries
Android for sure. iPhone is soooo gay.
Android, all the way.

I just left my Blackberry after 4 years and got an Android, the T-mobile G2x. I'm pretty happy with it except for the battery life and for having to re-learn how to use all of the features I had on Blackberry.
I originally wanted the iPhone, but since there is no 4G version yet I chose the g2x. |
