I would like to see the body. I think that we "deserve" that both for proof and just because billions of dollars have been spent and hundreds of thousands of people have died in his name. i don't think having him put on display would even be necessary, even a news conference with him visible would have sufficed more than just nothing. Plus if the government knew they have taken heat about false bin laden claims in the past why not at least do that to shut up the masses some at least? Pakistan has confirmed Bin Laden's death too. That's not very good for them for a number of reasons. Firstly with their own citizens who will be unhappy about it for sure. Second with the USA who will be asking lots of questions how how Bin Laden could have been located where he was for so long without the goverment knowing.

If this was all just a USA conspiracy, there would be no reason for the Pakistanis to go along with it. You'd expect them to be yelling from the tree tops that it was not true.
