Vacation, what should I check out in Seattle?
 

I'm going to stay 3 days in Seattle before doing an Alaska cruise.. what should I check out?

the music scene, find out where grunge moved to

seattle kinda blows, pike's place market. other then that weak.

Vancouver.

There are a few cool things to check out. Pike Place market like Scuba said. Also the waterfront has some good food and fun stuff to see. You can take a boat trip around the bay and see the city from the water. The space needle and the monorail that takes you downtown is fun. If you like baseball the Mariners will be in back in town tomorrow. Aldo get a paper and see what is going on. The city has a major music/art type scene so there could be a cool exhibit or band to see.

there is a very cool book store called Elliot bay books...if you are into sci fi at all
seattle is a great town

Visited Pike Place Market 6 years ago.. lot's of fun.. taking the family this time and will defintly take them there

airport. you can fly somewhere more interesting.
