Which PHP version do you run

Curious what you guys are running on your servers

Nicky 05-03-2011 10:24 AM

I code for 4.0, but run 5.2x. Alot of my customers are on old systems and I need to be backwards compatable without headaches.

ya me too, curious if its needed to upgrade to 5.3

I run 4.x and 5.2.x. Reason being is because I had some custom scripts created that I use regularly that do not work in PHP 5

Klen 05-03-2011 10:36 AM

Funny you ask, since i was just installed ver 5.3 on one server, but didnt tested it yet.Wonder does ST work with it.

jwerd 05-03-2011 11:01 AM

5.3.x, but 5.2.x will be just fine with any new stuff that scripts require. 5.1.x loses json_encode and a few others which I see a lot more scripts use and it's unfortunately the package default for centos :/

locally 5.3, server 5.2

Hotrocket 05-03-2011 12:55 PM

5.2.16 on one and 5.3.1 on the other

u-Bob 05-03-2011 01:18 PM

5.2 mostly

'All PHP users should note that the PHP 5.2 series is NOT supported anymore. All users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to PHP 5.3.6.'
