Gonna love it when Obama is re-elected
Without a doubt, he was gonna be relected before the lastest news... this just seals his fate. Congrats on another term :thumbsup
|
I agree, unless someone retaliates for Osama's death and kills a bunch of Americans on US soil.
Other than that, I don't see anyone yet who is strong enough to run against him. However, rising gas, foreclosures, and unemployment could still get a lot worse between now and election day. |

It will all depend on what the economy is doing 18months from now... :winkwink:

If anything, I'd expect a Democratic majority in both houses of Congress. And I'd also guess the 2013 version of Obama isn't going to be as polite to the Republicans as before. |

I sure as hell won't vote for him.

There won't be another turn. Obama will destroy the world by Dec 12, 2012.
|
Based on Rasmussen Reports, Obama's approval rating jumped 11% this past week. I don't foresee it holding true and things will quickly move back to status quo. Americans have short memories and a "what can you do for me now" mentality. Unless Obama comes out with something spectacular, I don't see him making up the -13 differential. How many American's have already forgotten about the BP oil spill?
One thing Obama has done is charge his opposing electorate (Tea Party, Birthers, Conservatives, etc). They WILL turn out to vote in masse. The question now is will the same people that voted Obama into power return to the polls this time? Obama had a great campaign and a lot of people who never voted showed up at the polls. Those were the people that thought Obama was going to pay for their rent, food, and generally just start passing out money. It didn't happen so chances are they won't reappear at the polls. Less support from the original electorate and a wild frenzy from the competition. It's going to be an exciting race but I certainly don't see Obama winning a second term. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/publ..._tracking_poll |

Oh, and did you hear? The world is also ending on May 26th, or something too. Really, there's a pack of Christians cruising all throughout the US right now, letting everyone know the end days are near. Oh, and the world was actually going to end last year, and a couple years before that, and a few years before that too... |
Way too early to make predictions. But funny thread.

Yeah I was gonna say.. it's just too early yet. There isn't even a viable GOP candidate yet is there?
|
People like this not voting this time around is going to hurt Obama more than anything else.

There isn't a republican potential candidate out there that doesn't have some kind of flaw so it isn't like he likely won't have a very formidable opponent, but if the economy isn't doing well and the republican has some legit ideas on how to fix it he could make some noise wit that. |
The Republitards own congress, so where are the jobs?
History shows us what happened when the GOP had 8 years of power, with 6 dominated by ownership of both houses. They failed! If the economy is exactly like it is right now, and the GOP still has no sensible plan to change the status quo, Obama still wins. No one is voting for a party that offers NO PLAN OR VISION for the future. |

This little scam is blowing up in his face and I'm enjoying every last minute of it. People I know who would have never questioned a thing the government did are now questioning it all. All because of this little psyop.
I'm looking forward to a public hanging of many so called leaders when it's all said and done. |

Better take a look at the electoral college map for 2012. Since people are fleeing failed left leaning states and moving to right leaning states the numbers of EC in many of the states Obama won last time around are going down by 1 or 2. However, I think with the controlled media and msnbc and cnn carrying his water, Obama will win.
As for the dems controlling both houses? lol, most political experts are saying its another day of reckoning for the dems in 2012. I am not saying the Reps are going to do any better. Just pointing out the landscape. |

Ask Pelosi!!~ |
Yes 5 trillion more in debt. Here in Wisconsin it's really starting to take hold . Yesterday the Milwaukee Public School system announced they are going to have to lay off nearly 1000 employees and close schools because of lack of funds.
The economy is going to dictate the next administration. And there is not a lot of time left for things to improve. |
2 years is a long time.

Thing is what are they going to say? Osama was captured and then executed in front of his family? Republicans aren't going to have a problem with that. They simply cannot attack Obama on this because they'd be attacking the SEALS (this year's FDNY of 2001) and the assassination of Bin Laden. The only people who are going to be upset aren't going to vote Republican anyway. Having said all that, by the election next year, nobody is going remember this week, let alone give a fuck enough to vote Obama because of it. What always matters to people is security. And security for 99.9% of people (all over the world actually) means not having to worry about food on the table and roof over their heads; not some dead terrorist killed 18 months ago, 10,000 miles away. Now, with his popularity as high as it will get before the next election, is actually a really good time to place a bet on Obama losing. |

He's a highly intelligent individual who knows what he's doing. Whether or not that's a good or bad thing, I'll leave up to you. Almost guaranteed though, any of the leading Republican contenders who run against him in a presidential campaign will be obliterated, and made to look like a fool. Everyone knows this, and that's why nobody on the Republican side is stepping up to the plate. There's no way any of those guys can compete against Obama in an intellectual debate. They'll just continue spouting the typical bullshit, while Obama gives calm, reasoned, and collective answers to everything. Before, he was just some jackass senator from Illinois, and now he's the President. Have fun competing! |
I guess you are right obama is a great bull shitter lol

He will have a harder time this go around with the independants. Whoever gets the republican nod won't have a tough time running against Obama's record. If you vote for any leader because he has a nice personality and you think he is smart you should just stay home in November and watch a sitcom. |
I doubt that Obama will get re-elected...

Again, the Republicans aren't going up against some senator from Illinois. This time, they're going up against the current president of the United States. Have fun! |
