A friend of mine is involved in this project, which looks like a decent movie startup.

I love how the guy breaks down the entire film and then ends it with "without giving too much away", lmao

BTW, I heard Christopher Mallick is one of the main investors and is assuring people this is going to take off like the Endeavour shuttle launch.

No offense but I think that story has been told about 4billion times.

The movie seems high quality. The martial arts stunts are impressive.

Interesting way to get funding. Pity the person giving the money does not get any ownership rights to the project.

Yeah, in the US you are not allowed to raise money for a film without filing with the SEC or following very stringent rules if you just go after acquaintances or people in your network of friends and family.

The budget is very low because everyone is working for free.
