He have probably been dead for years. Obama wanted to look good for the upcoming election and they also had to do something to raise the dollar a bit.

Sure it is. Because if that picture was released, then everyone would believe it to be real and never question again whether or not Bin Laden is actually dead.

The photos must have been extremely gruesome.

The internet has created this monster. The need for people to have immediate access to anything and everything. Gore porn in this case.

Conspiracy theorists would just take the photos as further proof that Osama is alive. They would analyze it and find artifacts that don't exist, or a million reasons why the photos are fake.

No one wins by releasing these photos. I don't need pictures. The fucker is dead. Good riddance.

Our government really does not give a shit about whether any of us believe it or not, with the photo or without. If released many will claim it as a fake so it will never end. They care about our national security, not our opinions.... until election time that is.

For the dollar, you can explain it with the european central bank:
They have a policy to stop inflation, so each time there is inflation ,they increase their rate to lend money.


In the usa, obama, from the democratic party, needs the vote of the last workers.
I think this is also linked with the debt of the USA.
In the first case, Obama keeps the dollar weak to improve the possibility to export goods (cars/airplanes) to other countries at a low price and in the second case, i heard that it reduces the interrest that USA has to pay because of its debt.
The problem is that now, you can borrow money at a low price in the USA and lend it in europe at a higher interest rate.

But i guess that the dollar will stay weak until the end of 2012.

This means also that it will reduce the purchasing power of the americans... (inflation, because you have to import good from other countries, like japan ou china).
Of course, this may change if the euro becomes weaker because of the debt of some european countries.

That one was actually on the news (heavily obscured) hours before Agent 488 posted it. Just do a search and you can find others. I haven't seen them because I don't like gore, and from what I can tell from the search results, and the fact the news only showed that one, the other pics are worse than that and don't feature Osama anyway, because he wasn't there.

Funny though, the President uses the excuse that the pics of Osama are too gory to show and would upset Muslims, yet we can see they have no problem with it themselves.

I don't think they should be posted here, except in a special thread where there's fair warning given.
