Any Herman Cain fans here? He's not a libertarian so that might take some shine off his appeal to free enterprise leaning GFYers.

Anyone that thinks that he will survive a Republican primary doesn't have the first clue about politics. He doesn't have the resources or connections to build and run a national campaign... my prediction is that he will be out before super Tuesday.

Republicans have a solid history of nominating people who have previously run for President OR have a long-term relationship with the Republican establishment and I don't think that is going to change.

Fox is pushing him hard, so that tells you everything you need to know. They'd never push someone who really favors the free market.

Insiders are now saying Ron Paul is the man to beat. In the latest polls Ron Paul comes the closest to beating Obama in a head to head match up. The tide is turning away from the neo-cons and they are running scared. So they throw people like Cain into the mix to try to sell the Republicans the illusion of outsider small government candidate. :2 cents:
