David Stodghill sentenced 4 - 8 years in prison; Lifetime Megans Law Registration
 

Former GFY member David Stodghill was sentenced yesterday to up to 8 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 12 and 13 year old girl in 1999 and 2009. The State of Pennsylvania also determined that he will need to register for life a sex offender,

For longtime GFY members, this should come as little shock, as rumors of his involvement with kiddie porn and other criminal activity were frequently mentioned here. GFYers who brought up his shady history would frequently find themselves the target of personal attacks, from threats, libel, and website hacks, to offline attacks including anonymous calls to local CPS agencies with bogus charges.

Stodghill was also wanted for questioning for possible involvement in the still unsolved homicide of a drifter in Pennsylvania. The case remains open, and according to my sources, Stodghill had previously claimed helping dispose of the body.

He had around 10 if I recall, he'd get one banned and move on to another. He pulled lots of scams and threatened anyone who challenged him here. Last thing I think he pulled here was when he hacked into turboface's domain registrar and transferred most of his domains out and then tried to sell them right here on gfy.

I'm surprised that dude has lived this long. There were people sending death squads after him and posting pictures (maps) of his house, all of his contact info, etc. But I gotta say, 8 years is a slap on the wrist for fucking with kids! He should have gotten at least 15 minimum. :2 cents:

If you look at the court docs, you'll see they also charged him for possession, but dropped this as part of a plea agreement.

8 years may not seem like much, but remember that the prison population don't like people who fiddle with kids, they'll find out soon enough why he's in there...

Agreed. 8 years seems to be the max too. With good behavior and such, he could be out in much less. Pretty sad state of affairs when predators get off so easy.

Not much new in here - and it certainly doesn't mention the scope of Stodghill's criminal activities outside of his home town - but at least the word is out.

I'm still sickened that the fuckstick is still stealing oxygen....

Oh yeah, he should have got twice that amount of time. The shitstick posted here that I was convicted of some kiddie P*** bullshit, when he got into an arguement with one of my partners in a website. MF didn't know me for shit, he just started posting crap, that's how I found, and why I joined this site years ago.

He's probably safer where he is now, because there were a lot of folks from here looking for him, I don't know how Pennsylvania works, but here in Texas, if a bunch of us wrote the State Parole Board, recommending against any kind of Early Release, it would be considered and weighed in the decision.

Anybody care to look into that? If an address was published, I'd spend some time, and buy a stamp, if it was worthwhile.

I think a letter writing campaign petitioning against an early release may be too soon... he was just sentenced. Wouldn't it be more fitting to wait until closer to when he'd be up for parole?
