ATN: AWEMPIRE - WHY DO YOU TAKE $52 USD from credit card of customer, yet only give $30 credit?
ATN: AWEMPIRE - WHY DO YOU TAKE $52 USD from credit card of customer, yet only give $30 worth of credit???
1. Why is it, that when someone from USA buys credit for $29.99 they get 29.99 worth of credit, but when someone from EUROPE buys credit in EURO for 29.99EU they get only $29.99 USD credit. 2. -YET- when the 29.99 EURO is taken from the credit card, you surcharge above the forex rate (ie 30 euro should be max 45$ -- YET you charge $52 AND only give $29.99 worth of credit??? 3. Shouldn't customer get $52 dollars credit, for $52 USD u took from their card?? THIS IS EXTREMELY UNFAIR!!! |
when i asked this, they just told me that this is how processor does...
|
that's bullshit! no wonder i get chargebacks !!!
|
Soon they will explain to you bro.

AWE would never cheat an affiliate:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh: 1orglaugh:1orglaugh

once the customer finds out, they will do a chargeback with this explanation, which the credit card company will accept because it is blatant theft |

this is also screwing the affiliates
because say in the eurozone someone buys credit for 29.99, AWE charges them 52$ USD and only pays out affiliate % on the $29.99 usd..... |
we need one curency for hole fucking world
|
that'd be nice, but still, this is not right from both customer & affiliate standpoint
if its in USD then its OK customer standpoint: but the fact that they make customer pay 29.99 euro (which is $42.50 as per todays forex, $52 USD according to awe that they billed my customer) then customer should get the same ammount of credit as the USA customer. so in this case $52 credit for 29.99 euro and B affiliate my sale was labelled as $29.99 when in fact, the sale was $52 USD and they paid me revshare on $29.99 retaining the commission % that should've been paid on the extra $22 for themselves (note: customer was charged $52) |
i guess to pay affiliates ?
|
Well i guess same situation as gaming industry charging a 60$ game in Europe 80$ just because price is in euroes.Still, they should adjust credit correctly.Which is why i use
acwm which adjust prices automatically. |
its in their TOS :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Yep, almost every AAA title does this, especially when it comes to MMORPGs... if the price is $10 it's ?10. Unfair? Dunno. Most people in the EU make a hell of a lot more money than people in the US. Unless of course they work in adult :1orglaugh |

Western Europe is, indeed, what is usually implied in spoken language when you just say "Europe". It's often referred to in terms of buying power, market size, education level and average accumulated wealth as well as GDP per capita.
"The rest" of Europe, usually don't count or are not mentioned the same way, even though they technically are a part of the geographical Europe. |
The dogs in the street know what is happening here.......

So when that happens do they pay the revshare affiliate who referred that customer a % of $29.99 or $52?
|
i personally think that since your average webcam girl can be found at a number of sites, this makes it easier for people out of the US to go to those sites
and im not sure about getting more for European customers so far I get the same for someone from Europe as someone from the US |
