i fapped over this phone earlier today, just like every day.........

the best choice... awesome screen and Android rulez!

word around the campfire is that samsung's pr scheduled for may 25th is to announce the date it goes on sale in the u.s. they did the same recently with the infuse and released it 10 days later. got some stupid names for the phone though.

i found engadget's review to be a good read about this phone, samsung also released a 12 minute youtube video on this phone just within the last couple of days that's pretty well done too.

The first Galaxy. Its the best and my first Mobile toy in a long time. I love it!

I've seen it and "touched" it breifly (a guy had it by a friends house) and it looked/felt amazing.. big screen and very light phone.

Ordered one 2 days ago, but Samsung is behind on delivery, so it's expected to land here in like 14 days or so

let's us know how it all goes! how fast is cellular where you are? do you have 3g 4g there or?

Had a samsung once and never again. The support was just pure crap so I'm avoiding their phones.

About the S2 I have no idea but I love the one I got and I thought I didnt need one for many years...

no worries, i was just wanting a back up way to get this phone if the initial u.s. launch is delayed. :) i've found it for ~$700 unlocked but have to back order and that's a lot for a phone eh.

We are in the slow development fase of 4g I think.. so 3g

yeah, it's mostly all bullshit here. the only true lte 4g network right now is verizon, all the others are 3.5g at best. and hell, the verizon network has had issues.

Great phone. Size is tight. Screen is the best currently available. Speed is great. Camera and video both perform well.

Cons... No HDMI output and no dedicated camera button. Some would so no hardware keyboard.

If those cons don't concern you, go for it!

Unless there's solid confirmation of a Sprint iPhone and not just rumor, I will be getting the SGS2 as soon as it's available.

I got the first Galaxy S and loved it, it worked great for a few months then started crashing constantly. I went back to Blackberry Bold.
