Anyone using Buddypress ?
 

I'm looking at basing a new project around buddypress, just wondering what people are using as a media sharing option as this does not seem to be inbuilt.

If anyone has some sample sites to share please do.

anyway, any CORRECTLY CODED WP plugin should work with WPMU/BuddyPress. And, as we're at it, BuddyPress is just a plugged-in workframe/extension so, as long as your plugin works with your current WP version, chances are your plugin will work in your BP install as well. At worst, maybe with a couple changes :2 cents:

I want to allow people to post images or albumbs in their activity stream, I haven't found this to be possible with Buddypress.

Again, BuddyPress is just an extension, you gotta understand the difference in order to work with it. OR just use the "out of a box" versions. Anyway, in order to do what you want just install Nextgen and you'll be able to do that.

But let me insist on this: if you don't understand the difference between WP and BP you'll have the same kind of issues with almost every single thing you want to do, so try reading BP's manual and FAQ first and you'll save a lot of time
