I just sold some software to a guy in India. He paid using his Paypal account, i saw the cash go in there and i sent him the software and license the following day. Paypal refunded his money after getting the product i sent to him. :mad::mad:

Here is the letter from Paypal i got today. All they have to say is sorry.. Fucked up shit dude.

Paypal sucks so bad I don't even have words to describe it. Ebay and Paypal together have a monopoly in the mainstream arena pretty much.

I wish Google would come up with a Paypal replacement to go along with Google Checkout.

How the fuck was i supposed to know? From what i remember i only needed to hook up a credit or debit card if i made purchases with the account. Doesn't have anything to do with people sending me money for the product. This is the 1st time this has ever happened to me. According to him, he sent the money once and i sent the product. He hung up on me when i said send it again cause i didn't get it and i was pissed.

Karma will get both of them. It's not the money that pisses me off, it's the feeling of getting fucked for hard ass work i did and i got nothing in return.

I have a netbilling account, according to him most people in India don't have a Credit or Debit card so we used Paypal. I have done past business with this duche head before and everything went smooth. Didn't know i was going to get fucked by both client and affiliate in this transaction! It was a pain in the ass to create what he wanted then type out how he would install it without allowing me or programmer to access his crap. The whole developmental process took 2 days. I kind of feel like a pissed of chatter who got his account closed without pay in a way.

You sold software to an indian guy, that itself is shady. Be careful dealing with them. Anything over $100 is a no go. There is a reason many online payment services don't accept them.

They do ... The only way you can save yourself as a seller is with a tracking id. If that's in there and someone refunds, they don't instantly take your money back.

I'm going through a PayPal dispute now, it's a PITA, but I've never lost.

I've called and spoken with someone about how a selle can be more protected and other than the tracking info, there isn't dick they can offer the seller.

Paypal is a fucking joke and a bunch of thieves. No, they do not protect the sellers one bit. I sold an automated pool cleaning robot for $600, the guy gets it claims it was damaged and Paypal froze the money and refunded it once he gave them a tracking number showing it was returned, only problem is the guy only sent back 1 piece that wasnt even damaged and kept the rest, Paypal didnt give a shit. Another time I sold a diamond ring on Ebay for $1300 a week before Christmas so I could have some extra money to give my kids a good Christmas, on Christmas eve my Paypal account was placed on limited status and I could not access the money. The guy didnt complain, in fact he left good feedback, their reason when I called them was jewelry sales on Ebay are prone to fraud and they held the money for 6 months. They have been hit with class action lawsuits at least twice for pulling the same shit and every time they just settle and keep doing what they are doing. They make tons of money from the interest of putting peoples money 'on hold'.

I've had plenty of people buy a script and then chargeback, and there's literally nothing I can do about it because it's intangible goods and my only options in the argument are "proof of shipping" and "I've already refunded the buyer". Fucking bullshit.
