Hey widget, i think its a great thing your doing here with this site. ESP as im 2nd :) But im trying to submit a neutral reply encouranging others not to bad mouth other designers in my review section. Its just mean and looks underhand... But each time i try t o post i get the error "Error: Please press the back button and fill the required field for spam protection."

comments and ratings need to be monitored, blue design get 1 star because of price, that's not fair, their work is better than that, needs a rethink!

That right there makes the site extremely unprofessional. That review doesn't even look legit, it looks like some haterade shit done for SE purposes.

I LOVE the concept behind this site. But how can it be policed?
How do we know whats a genuine complaint.... and whats shit talk/rival companies.

so much drama with designers... always.... lol

I wouldnt say its drama WITH designers. But are surrounded by it on a constant basis, as we are the first port of call for many of you program owners/site owners/blog owners....you name it.

All I can do is speak for myself. And say that yeah.. i enjoy a bit of shit talk with my clients about how great I am v's how crap thier last company was. What profession wouldnt?
No-where in my job description does it say I have to be the dalai lama. BUT if I can send work to my peers... as i often do.. I will. But on the flip side.. if i think a rival company offers bad value/service/crap skills.... Ill tell it how I see it. I.E go here.. dont go THERE. And I think thats a valuable thing to do....

Designers should know how to treat their clients... but equally clients should behave in a decent way too. And 9/10.... they dont. They think we do this for beer money...

And i predict whats gonna happen now... .. we are gonna see a bunch of fake designer review sites with whomever made them ranked at number1...............

the best designers are the freelance ones. big company sites sucks its usually hit or miss, cause you don't always get the same designer and they charge more. i like hiring non-adult designers who do really nice mainstream all css/xhtml designed sites. you get the best unique stuff that way and not the standard 3-4 adult layouts that 70% of all adult sites use.

Being freelance is cool, but you are limited by being a small operation. One or two people can only take on so much.

However the work is more consistent for sure when it is the same person designing! You know what you are going to get and communication doesn't have to go through a third party or broker. That has a lot to do with pricing too.

Scuze my spelling.. just put my girl to bed and fell asleeep myself, can barly see my keybourd. I concider outsourcery to be the work of the devil. How can you effiectivly communicate ideas via a middleman.............Client/designer in bed together... its the only way.

And what does thst middle man do for his %.. sweet fuck all. They are leaches.... they feed on people with genuine talent. Suck them dry... and leave them with no portfolio..no clients. no glory.

Well im not even gonna call the person in my current train of thought a designer, although they claim to be. Ive seen his.her work.... and it stinks beyond belief......And hwo they justify thier prices.. i simply will never know. "big" comapnies are only interested in ne thing... YOUR MONEY. Job in-job out..get lost...

Companies are good at selling you a dream...and getting you to part iwth your money. I Wont do that...........ever. So im always gonna be a one girl team.......
