Horriffic. Here is a video taken inside that very tornado.

That hit way too close to home. My family all lives in that area. Luckily they are all ok, but my heart just aches for all the people that lost loved ones and homes.

Camera men need to learn to shut the fuck up and recored the event.

Let's all build our houses where Tornados constantly form.

Tornado was a half mile wide on the ground.

I am sick to my stomach! I grew up about 35 minutes south of Joplin close to Neosho. I have soooo many people effected by this. I feel helpless since I live so far away now! :( My cousin actually survived her house collapsing around her and her family! Please keep everyone out there in your hearts!!

I grew up in Springfield and was just out there last week. It makes me ill every time I see pictures.

I am sorry that your cousin lost her home, but grateful that she and her family are safe.

Sadly they are insured by the same guys that build their houses on the rivers that flood EVERY YEAR for god knows how long
