Facebook Vanity URL Question
I created a page off of my FB account. I then had 25+ friends on my page so I went to register a vanity URL.
On accident I registered it on my main FB account and then quickly deleted it and changed it my main page vanity URL. You are only allowed to do this once. I'm not on my page trying to create the vanity and it's available, yet FB isn't allowing me to register it. Any ideas? |

You might only be able to use the custom url once.

you can only use them once. |
Awaits email asking to change the URL on those files LOL.
1 option of course would be to delete all your friends and turn your main facebook into your business one, to get the URL you wanted :P |
I guess you didn't see the 5000 warnings FB gives you about how you can only do it once and how it can't be changed. Dumbass.

Let me be more clear on what happened.
I created a page off of my main FB account. I then had 25+ friends on the new page so I went to register a vanity URL. On accident I registered it on my main FB account and then quickly deleted it and changed my main FB account to something different. I was actually lucky to do this. I'm now on my new page trying to create the vanity and it's available and nobody else is using it, yet FB isn't allowing me to register it. Any ideas? Will FB store it in the their database for a while then release it bc. it was registered and then deleted recently? |
If Marc Z was one of your 25 friends this would be no problem. Have you tried FB support?
