Alertpay don't know their ass from their elbow nowadays.

Sid70 05-25-2011 08:45 AM

They gave me their debit card and within a month stopped allowing withdrawing. Isnt it sick?

Chrisz_AlertPay 05-25-2011 11:36 AM

Hi Pandemos and all,

I'm Chris from AlertPay and I just wanted to clear up the confusion here. Although AlertPay is experiencing temporary difficulties with our credit card withdrawal method we are working as quickly as possible to get this service back for all of our clients. At this time we are of course still offering all of our other withdrawal methods such as direct bank transfer, bank wire, or check withdrawal.
We understand that Credit Card withdrawal is very popular with many of our members and we apologise for the inconvenience. Be assured we are doing everything possible to resolve this as soon as possible and are expecting a resolution within the next few weeks.

@Sid70 - In terms of the AlertPay debit card we have not disabled withdrawals at all, if you are having difficulty with the card please contact us through our website or our customer support number at 514-748-5774.

Hope this helps & again sorry for the inconvenience

Alertpay dont got printable receipts. Shouldn't this be a very basic feature for all payment solutions? Fuck them!

Chrisz_AlertPay 05-25-2011 03:29 PM

Hi Emil,

AlertPay sends out an email receipt whenever someone makes a payment. These emails are printable and are official receipts. We also offer our members the option of exporting all of their transaction history & data in .csv format. This can then be used in a spread sheet to generate any number of reports or transaction logs.

AlertPay makes everything available electronically, this gives our clients more control over how they view their data and what they can do with it. It also promotes environmental responsibility; less paper waste is better for us all, and digital records are actually a lot easier to handle and keep track of.

Hope this helps,
Chris Z

I too am surprised that a "rep" has been sent here.

So are alertpay back accepting adult transactions? I wish they would make up their mind hence my initial comment about them.

I used them as a backup processor couple of years ago until they suddenly decided to "pull out of adult" (with no notice), held onto my funds for a while and then eventually repaid me.

They are (or were) useful for people who didn't have credit cards but could pre-load their account from their bank account and then spend it online with people like me. It was also useful to be able to withdraw funds as an when required rather than at specific times.

I then heard last year they were back processing for Adult sites so I enquired if they could re-open my account and received the following reply in September 2010....

"Hi Paul,

Thank you for your reply and information.

I have added you to our contact list once we have completed finalizing agreements with our banking partners.

Thank you for your patience and understanding."

.......and nothing since.

None off these epass alternatives will survive. I would not trust my money with any of them. It's just not worth it. I rather pay the fees for wires or check deposits than risking any of my money with these kinds of companies.

Hi Lagcam & all,

Thank you for appreciating our presence here :)
We haven't been very active in this forum as of late due to our ongoing hold on accepting new adult merchants. Over this time we have continued to support all of our existing Adult merchants but were unable to accept new accounts.

We are nearing the point where we will begin boarding Adult merchants again, and will working from our waiting list first.

@konda, We understand you're concern regarding payment processing companies that have been just flash-in-the-pan. We can assure you that AlertPay is not one of these. AlertPay has now been around since 2004 and boasts over 6 million members. We are continually growing to meet our member's needs.

As you may know the Adult industry is not our primary domain, but an industry that we are committed to supporting. With thousands of merchant accounts already using us we look forward to continuing our growth in this industry. As we approach the time when we will begin boarding new Adult merchants, we will be more and more active in these forums. We look forward to working with you and helping you conduct and grow your business!

Sincerely,

Chris Z

Er, how do you have "existing Adult merchants" if you pulled out of adult, suspended all accounts, and haven't yet re-opened them?

I was an existing adult merchant, who received what was it 0 days notice of your withdrawal from adult

You remember this notification you posted on accounts? Didn't even have the courtesy to email people.

"Due to changes in our User Agreement and the nature of your industry, AlertPay has made the decision to sever its business relationship with you. While we wish you the best of success in your future business endeavors, we respectfully ask that you seek another method of payment for your online business.

Your AlertPay account has been limited and there will be no appeals to the decision. Any remaining funds in your account balance will be available for withdrawal 30 days from the date of the limitation. Once 30 days has passed, your account will be closed and the funds will no-longer be available for withdrawal.

The AlertPay Team."

This was 11th November 2008 btw. You did settle my outstanding balance on 16th January 2009 and I am grateful for that but to be honest, I don't think the "adult industry" needs another half assed operation, starting and stopping whenever they feel like it and I caution anybody considering using you.

I also didn't have a very good experience with alertpay... The money requests you make in their system have no way to pay for non-users of their site. There was some convoluded way to do it in the end (i think make an invoice instead of making a money request). After we finally managed to get my clients money in there, I requested a wire out it took like 2 weeks before it was send out. Ultimately I got the money in the end, but it was a very bad thing for them to pull right after the whole epass thing.

Sid70 06-01-2011 05:39 AM

My experience is their operations take way too long, even their own debit card withdrawal.

No more Adult On Alertpay

Alertpay has lost their minds. I got this email yesterday saying i had seven days until they would take down the links on all my sites :

"We would like to start by thanking you for using AlertPay as your payment processor of choice.

This notice is to inform you that due to changes with our banking and credit card partners as of Monday, August 22nd, we will no longer be able to provide credit card payment processing services for your AlertPay account. Please note that AlertPay balance transfers will not be affected by this change."

And then 24 hours later they sent me this email:

"In follow up to the email you received yesterday regarding your credit card processing services with AlertPay, we unfortunately will not be able to provide you with the 1 week notice period as planned to remove credit card processing for your website.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you, however, this was an
unforeseen issue beyond our control, specific to your industry sector. As mentioned in the
previous email, this is due to changes with our banking and credit card partners.

The credit card processing services for your website will be removed later today. Please note that AlertPay balance transfers will not be affected by this change."

Very Very unprofesional.

ladida 08-16-2011 04:46 PM

What was your website? Adult related?

DirtyGirl305 08-16-2011 05:09 PM

Yeah it was an adult website and I have been using them since 09/09. Yesterday was the first time I got any info that they were making changes. So effed up!

lagcam 08-16-2011 07:18 PM

I was wrong.

They are not even a "half assed operation".
