Promoting on Youtube..

Let's say I edit the non-nude part of some nice videos down to 1-2 minutes a piece and upload to Youtube. Inside the videos window and/or below them I have a link and some simple text like "Click here to view the full video".

What kind of views would you need to get to see some sales? If I have 20-30 videos with 1 million views total am I going to see any sales at all?

digitaldivas 05-25-2011 08:08 PM

I have 31 trailers, over 1 millions views, although I am niche fetish, and imho, the short answer is yes, youtube has been very good to me.

Jack Sparrow 05-25-2011 08:11 PM

Doesnt work for most niches and youtube is closing accounts and dissaproving videos faster then lucky luke the last months.

I have A couple of non nude trailers on youtube but I cannot track it, if I am getting sales from it

I've had multiple accounts shut down with softcore nn videos. :( But when they were up, they did bring in quite a few sales.

What are the accounts shut down for if there's not nudity? Users reporting?

I bought this guys Youtube promoting company with the Youtube legit and legal uploads and views and shit. Truth is i paid 600$ or something and i made a few 1$ trials. Didn't get my investment back though. I don't recommend promoting it that way, I'm sure there is some sort of legal action these day's anyway doing it.

I think it's one of the shittiest forums of traffic right now.. Who am i to say anything though, i bet someone is going to come in right under me and call me a failure and how he is making xxxx.xx amount per week or whatever. Guess it depends on the marketer eh? :rasta

Make a quality video for youtube and you will get traffic to your site.

Quality video is not a problem, I just don't want to waste my time.

SpaceDoc 05-26-2011 11:38 PM

i have sales from youtube , you should try to , no time wasting , just patience.

Good luck

loreen 05-26-2011 11:54 PM

It worked very well a few years back, now the traffic is low and most of the videos were removed.

Yes. shoot something that's just for Youtube.

I wrote a thread about it recently with a girl talking about what a great day she had shooting with me.

Used the same idea years ago and sold those clips on a sample video. Intrigued people enough to make them buy the full video.

Emil 05-27-2011 04:30 AM

I've made tons of money with this method in the past. The problem these days is that videos rank in a different way and that YT is banning accounts and it's hard to create new ones.

My record day was 14 sales I think. :)

probably linking to porn got the vids reported.

james_clickmemedia 05-27-2011 06:09 AM

It tough to know what they will remove and what they won't. & once you get three strikes they ban you account.

combson 05-27-2011 06:39 AM

it doesn't work anymore, but it worked nice...!

jollyperv 05-27-2011 06:52 AM

Prepare to get flagged by your competitors...it's a dirty fucking game.
