Junk mail from registering for affiliate programs?
 

Do you get a lot of adult junk mail (postal, not email) as a result of signing up for affiliate programs? Adam & Eve catalogs, Extenz, dating, viagra, etc?

Some programs don't have privacy policies, and even if they do who knows if they follow them. I just wonder how many times my mailing address will be sold after signing up for enough programs. I don't live in the US, so my US mailing address is actually a family member's house.

Nope can't say I have from snail mail...

I get over 4000 spam mails every month, I have no idea where it comes from and I don't care. It ends up in my spam mail box :)

yes i have received spam from affiliate programs. some of them do sell their lists. i always use a unique email for each program. for example, i receive hundreds of emails a month to an email i set up as nastydollars@...

guess which program that was for?

and this thread just proves no one reads what ppl write lol

the guy specifically said POST NOT EMAIL

and no - rarely ever do i get anythign unwanted in my mail box from a sponsor

a few years back it happend a few times but alot of ppl bitched about it on the boards and it stiopped

Used to get AVN magazines mailed which was cool but I forgot to cancel when I moved out and forwarded the mail to my parents... Well, that went down like a fart in church. However, I emailed them when my mom lost her shit and they stopped mailing me ;)
