Some advice needed!
A young couple (b/g) that I know here in Australia, decided to branch out into getting a Pay Site for themselves. The girl in the team, is a reasonably high ranked MFC model and when they decided to value-add the MFC exposure, they decided on the paysite.
Well anyway, they must have gotten their advice about how to go about it all, out of a breakfast cereal pack because apart from it costing them around $7,000 for a site with flashy graphics and not much else, they are left with an unfinished, paid for project - the cretin who did this to them has his day coming I'm sure - it would appear that they have at least got ftp and cpanel access for the site and they are in the process of moving it away from the control of said cretin. Okay, that was the background of the story so far - the next problem that they have at the moment is they want to set up a membership area and have an online store. They originally tried AlertPay for the store, but AlertPay are not accepting foreign clients. They went to CC Bill to set up the membership area and the payment system for the store, but CCBill doesn't allow Australian businesses to accept Visa unless they can produce two pieces of US ID in order to get Visa to work, but other cards are allowable. Furthermore, CCBill now wants them to have a US business. Can anybody offer some advice or some alternatives for these two? :disgust |
Have they tried looking at other payment processors like Verotel (I know they have some form of affiliate section, but i'm not sure how well it would work or even how it works, but I think it will handle the payouts like CCBill does). I'm not sure about the Visa thing though as it might be Visa's rules rather than the payment processors, unless they are just being extra cautious.
As for the design and layout of the site, they may need to find someone to help them build in the final features and integrate the payment processing. Good Luck to them, if you need any help please just drop me a message and I will see what I can do Kind Regards Rob |
Thanks for that - I'll let them know about this option. :thumbsup
