I never spend more than about $10 on sunglasses because I know I will lose them in less than a week. Same reason I never buy a watch that doesn't say "Timex" on it.

I buy the $6 glasses as I tend to loose them all the time. :)

:1orglaugh been there done that. Went thru security at the airport a while back, kept setting the scanner off , I'm thinking WTF ?? I never carry any change ect, to make sure I dont get hassled. By the 3rd time, the guy points to the sunglasses on top of my head :winkwink:

These are on the ones I have. They aren't dark enough like my others, so I can't wear them as often.

People with money have more important things to think about other than the location of their shades. People that are broke? They tend to hang onto things as tight as they can, because they may never come back to them or maybe they can pawn them to buy their next package of ramen noodles. I usually buy prescription aviators at $200 or so a pop. For $2400, I expect the optician & all her girlfriends to fuck me all weekend.

i can't wait to see how these do at auction, i'll list them sunday. just sold a pair of 16+ year old motorcycle boots for $405, that's over $100 more than i paid for em back then.
