A guide to buying content

I have a whole bunch of n00b questions on how to buy adult content.. but searching for answers seems problematic, since so many results tend to be specific offers. Is there a guide somewhere to buying content - with average prices (for both photos and videos), what to watch out for, what can I legally do with it once I bought? For example, if I buy something from a site like videos4sale.com/ - I'm guessing at prices this low it's for my private viewing pleasure only, and I can't put it up on my site/tube sites?

Would much appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction.

Thanks!

You need a LICENSE to post or resale content. A CONTRACT that tells you what you can do with it.

INever is right, you can only post licensed content. In other words, the written contract between you and the content producer will spell out what you can and cannot do with the content.

Make sure that you get full 2257 compliance information if you buy licensed content, because under the law you are a secondary producer. If you have questions check out the link below, and feel free to hit me up. :thumbsup

You definately cannot post that content to a tube site - infact, most content you acquire will have clauses not permitting you to do so.

Oh dear, yes you are new aren't you - lol! :1orglaugh
Don't worry, you will find plenty of information on GFY to help you out. Firstly, to answer your question . . you are way off! If you buy something from a site like videos4sale.com then you are buying it as a CONSUMER. If you then published that video ANYWHERE you would be breaching the original owner's copyright. So don't do that!

If you want to buy content to distribute / publish and make money from yourself then you need to go to content marketplaces or contact exclusive content producers. They will have contracts in place that enable you to buy their content as a RESELLER or LICENSEE and not as a consumer. These contracts will then set out how you can or can't distribute the content.
I am a content producer and site owner as well and I have purchased content in the past. I normally try to buy exclusive content so I can use it wherever I want in any manner I want and I know that no-one else has the same content (but it is more expensive than non-exclusive). If you search for adult content producers on GFY you will find plenty of the online marketplaces where you can buy cheap non-exclusive content from. :thumbsup

Yes, you CANNOT buy content as a consumer and re-sell it. You must buy from broker or producer directly. You will need 2257 documents, model release and an invoice at the least.

you cannot use such content for commercial purpose. It can put you in a lot of trouble. good luck.
