Do you have this feeling like you want to get away from civilization, from computers, from money, from people surrounding you and to go live in some deep forest away from this whole shit. I fucking want it more and more. And you know what? I seriously consider it. If I will don't show up on boards, irc and if I won't answer emails for more than a few months then you will know that I'm either dead or I did it. Why fight for more money why? why? why?! I'm sick and tired of this crap. I'm tired of people, computers, the web, I'm tired webmastering, programming, administrating, hacking and trying to make more money than a day before. :mad:
I will buy gold for all the money I have and then I will hide it somewhere. I don't trust banks. Or maybe I will give it all away to poor children. I think that it should be enough to save some small town of children from death of hunger in Africa. But what would I do with all my servers, websites, software etc? :( Sell it all? Maybe that's what really I should do now.

The wife and I are moving to the Smoky Mountains sometime in the next year or two. We vacation there a couple of times a year and she finally saw the logic of moving to the only place where we feel at peace. It's like Heaven there. Just gotta sell some property and sell her business and find a place up there.

No, but I do need to get away from people sometimes...and just need some major alone time. once or twice a year, I like to take off for 2-3 days and camp primitive, do a bunch of screaming and shit and just get all caveman. It's very therapeutic. I turn off my cell phone, etc. and just get back in touch with nature and avoid human contact as much as possible. Then I'm good and come "back to society"

I felt the same way when I was there and plan on buying a nice cabin to live for a part of the year, at least when I retire...

I'd love to get away from the pc for more than 24 hours just once... every time i say 'thats it im not touching it this weekend' i find myself going into autopilot and before i know im knee deep in emails! its a curse!

Take 2 margaritas and one hot piece of ass and call me in the morning. I think you will make a full recovery.

i can dig it. I actually wrote a nice tune about giving it all up. i guess its nice to know i'm not alone in this sentiment.
