i dont get it...

the file sizes for those are quite large, the first one is over 800k and the second over 600k. Way to big to be of any use :(

Oh, BTW if anyone knows of a decent freeware gif to flv converter I'd appreciate the link. There are plenty of shareware ones but since I am basically experimenting around I don't want to spend any cash

Make the girl stay in the middle of the animation. Separate her from the background, make the background not move. Then only animate her.... the file size will reduce by half of what it is now.

I am sure those are great suggestions but time consuming like crazy. I am experimenting around, I think if I compressed it to flash it might cut down the file sizes substantially. Note I am not a designer, usually I just back away slowly from photoshop... Im dangerous :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

You don't need any special programs to reduce the size of an animated gif, save it with less colors and watch the file size shrink. I believe there is also a way to specify a file size and it will shrink it to that size with as little quality loss as possible.

just make it smaller dimensions...
