I think they got rid of them but those ads are the reason I will never my cursor get close to a banner on this site much less click one.

Running banners here is great for branding. I pick up way more business than the banner cost me per month.

For someone who has supposedly been in this business for 9 years now and only has a whitelabel camsite to show for it, advertising on GFY is prolly not a good idea for you.

I don't know how valid your opinion is on the subject, especially not considering that you have a few times mentioned on here that you are about to drop a "major advertising budget" and that it is important that "Eric hits you up NOW".

Still, Eric claims that you've never come through on those and never closed any deal.

From that, you seem a bit too much biased and thus maybe don't make the most valid point in this case.

This industry will never learn.

During the month of May GFY delivered approx 9mil ad impressions to the advertisers. Our openX stats go some three years back and that has been a new record.

I think i might have clicked an actualy gfy ad like once by mistake lol. Sigs and text links in fucked up posts i have actually signed up and sent sales or bought scripts ads etc.

Same here... I've never clicked a gfy banner (like I said, I'm blocking them), but I still see value in buying gfy adspace because that allows you to use bigger signature banners (which do get my attention).

I'm curious what the average number of active users is at any given time throughout the day? Or perhaps what the average number of active users is at peak time throughout the day.

That's the key, money enough to buy a big enough banner to have big sig and to buy the sigs. I would think it's almost worth it depending on how much you have to pay just for branding :)

Anyone paying an affiliate $50.00 for sending in a join and 75% rev share is a straight up fool. Go buy yourself some business sense rather than advertising.

that's how they can afford the payouts...

Then most people are too embarrassed to call up their cc company and say I joined x porn site and was not happy... so they let it slide.....

it's a real convenient scam operation..... that's what the Adult Industry has degraded into... and what you need to do just to make any $ in it anymore.

I think that any program that offers payouts like that are banging cards.

That's the only way to be able to meet payouts like that and still make a profit IMO.
