So I'm checking out TheEuropeanSummit and I'm putting a list together on things to do near the show hotel.


Are there any places/restaurants/sights that I MUST see/eat at? I'm a Prague virgin and I don't want to miss out on anything when I get there. Post pics if you got them, I'm a very visual person. I also have a tendency to eat my way through a city I'm staying in.:xomunch

Hey sweetie, you should definitely do some sightseeing - Charles Bridge, Vysehrad,the famous clock. And I can recommend some great restaurants.

Prague is a perfect beautiful city, there is plenty of half hidden spots you should explore, tons of smaller beer-spots in historic locations - and the Czech beer is the best in the world in case youre not aware of it :) Not mentioning the sightseeings all over the city, its a real gem in the heart of Europe IMO. I think I should visit this convention too :)

I found out that the best and cheapest way for a one way ticket Amsterdam Prague is www.easyjet.com One way ticket Amsterdam - Prague on Monday september 19 or Tuesday september 20, leaving 19:05 is max 70 euro with two bags. You better book, normally the prices go up.

Two way ticket can be booked by several other airlines for 100 - 140 euro.

Cheapest i could find from RO to CZ is 330 EUR. Thinking to come by car, but with the current petrol prices, it'll be the same cost.

First time i'm in Prague as well, heard it's a very nice city.

Yeah, i know, but the departures / arrivals are all wrong and you'll spend 4 hours for a 1 hour flight. I'm far from being a plane fan.

And to all those who are in the doubts - Prague rocks and dont be afraid of eastern europe, Prague is western for a long time already, with all the pros and cons at the same time :)

The attendee lists will be released later, around 1 month before the event as far as I remember according to the previous shows. However if you're on facebook there is an event The European Summit, it shows some people who will attend.

As sign-ups are coming in a lot faster than usuaL, and we already got over 200 people registered (4 months pre-show), we will publish a first participants list middle of this month. This will then provide you with the opportunity to pre-show-network for full 3 months.

The Czechs pretty much invented beer!!!!! Well Pilsner larger they invented for sure. Avoid the tasteless mass produced crap (Staropramen, Gambrinus, Braník) and go either for the tasty mass produced crap (Budvar, Pilsner Urquell) or better yet find a bar that serves unpasteurized "Tankové pivo". Also, a beer called Svijany has started popping up in various places about the city, if you get the chance get a few of those in you will find it to be one of the most tasty pints available.

Yeah staropramen not so good but serve the purpose.And yes Svijany is good have a taste like a cherry.

of course i will be there, it's only 200 km from here :)
