Where's the best place to download Music these days?
I'm looking for older stuff that you cant get on I tunes,
|
i was looking for some old tracks from The Band and i couldn't find them downloadable anywhere. i went to youtube and there were tons of versions of every song - live concerts, masters, cover artists.
i just pulled out replay media catcher and ripped mp3's from the youtube stream. |

Plenty of streaming stuff. The only way you're really going to find everything you're looking for search the Torrent trackers.
Amazon might be a close second after iTunes too. |

Just search and click on the song you want, fill in the captcha, and save link as. |
How old is it if you can't find it on iTunes? I've seen stuff on there from the 40's.
|
I usually buy from Amazon. Typically cheaper than iTunes and the downloads are in MP3 format, so no fucking around with "authorizing" the computer you play music on.
|
I still use mIRC.

Amazon.com has everything.
To just start listening to whatever the fuck you want, I'd say go to Grooveshark. They're supposedly legit, but I have my suspicions. |
