RIP Dr. Death

Should someone have to suffer when they are terminal?

The bible thumpers said yes and sent Kevorkian to prison for murder.

Dogs and cats are treated more "humanly."

nikki99 06-03-2011 07:06 AM

is he in heaven or hell now?

nikki99 06-03-2011 07:07 AM

RIP Doctor

There was a great HBO documentary about his life:

Just a few days ago I watched a heart wrenching HBO documentary about Euthanasia, "How to Die in Oregon":

In my advanced speech class in high school I debated on the PRO side of euthanasia. I have always been an admirer of Dr. Kevorkian and what he believed in, stood for and even gave up nearly 8 years of his life defending. In my opinion he's a great man who had more balls than most to go to bat for something he felt strongly about...AND I agree with the right to die 100%. I honestly don't understand anyone who would think otherwise.

Please let me know if you do and why.

Bill8 06-03-2011 08:46 PM

The corporate media coverage of his death made me laugh.

To paraphrase one I watched today:

"Dr Death was a disgrace! But now doctors all over the world 'semi-secretly' help their patients into death by giving them increasingly higher doses of opiates.".

It's not news, it's another morality take from our corporate overlords.
