I am surprised nobody has ever started a "union" , so i figured i would give it a shot and see if the idea grows.

gfy is the largest adult community so why not use it as the basis.

If you want to join , simply say "i agree" in this thread to quit say "i quit". there are no rules yet to add a new rule all you have to do is be a member and start a gfy "public poll" starting with "WFPU RULE" to vote in a new rule :)

The FSC is trying to start a union of sorts with their health / testing racket.

But I would rather join yours. I agree.

There is a union for Hookers and sexclubs in Holland.
A unionn for webmasters and adult business could work.
But everybody starts fucking eachother than.
Will be hard to set goals everyone supports.

what would it accomplish? benefits?

Change the name to "Association" that might sell to independent business owners ...

If all the big players start partnering up now, there will be no room left for competition for the little guys! Come on, man! It would become even more of a circlejerk.

There was some chick awhile back on Xbiz trying to start a union.

I was involved with an attempt back in the late 90's.

Lol, I think we have a union of everything here in Holland. "Polder Model" comes to mind. But that made our unions a bunch of pussies IMHO. ;)

They recently started an agents union here in LA and it took about 5 minutes before they started stabbing each other in the back. The minute someone would lose a dollar they went thier own way. Think it would be different here on GFY. Hell people cant even use their real names here, need 100 fake nics.

u should ask sponsors to get involved then, they can promote their sites like approved by adult union , and if u take guarantee of the payments ,then i m in.

something like that to set some rules and boundaries.,

whatever everyone wants it to accomplish. everyone gets a vote .. anyone can change it.

you have to be a member to quit but .. if you join and become a member you could add a new rule that you can quit without becoming a member , then quit :winkwink:

a union is pointless unless it has power.

in early industrial times (12th century to present), you had to be in a local union to get work. citizens of a community would get shunned if they hired craftsmen that weren't in the local trade unions.

if u have a plan to gain and maintain power over the industry, then it is a serious consideration.
