Gallup: 66% of Americans Say Porn is Morally Wrong
 

UNITED STATES?Gallup has just released the results of its annual values and beliefs poll, and as far as the issue of pornography goes, a majority of the country?s citizens (or at least 66 percent of 1,018 adults) believes it is morally wrong. That does not mean a sizeable percentage of that 66 percent does not watch the stuff, but if they are it?s a safe bet that they?re feeling bad while doing it. Of course, all this talk of sex and porn addiction could be fueling that guilt, but that?s fodder for another poll.

I get this vision in my head of the pollster talking to a woman who is very anti-porn then when her husband is asked his opinion she stomps on his balls and he meekly says, "I agree."

Why such a minute sampling?

A survey of only 1,018 Americans within unknown regions of the USA being looked at it is not really something to discuss. Especially when America has 308+ Million people. The survey is not even a modicum worth mentioning in contrast to our entire society nor even close to any litmus test of a general thought consensus.

not 100% but if you compare the traffic of the adult sites with the non adult sites, there is a big difference.

A similar number to thinking porn is wrong also were fine with gayness? Seems a bit of a odd result.

You know when they do presidential polls they use similar numbers are they are usually pretty close. If you do a survey correctly you don't need a huge sample size.
