SE "torrent" traffic - how to monetize?

Let me preface this post by saying that all my sites are clean and I don't promote torrents or any of that scummy shit. But I have a lot of freeloader traffic where the person is searching for a specific scene + the keyword "torrent" - how do you monetize that?

If your using your own torrents you can include images in the torrent ZIP with your branding - include a txt file or a CLICKME file for oldschoolers to checkout who owns the content.

torrent sites use anti spyware software ads. Or some software regarding free downloading. Maybe you can check thpse ads

since search engines base results on your page content, how exactly are you getting a lot SE traffic for torrents when you dont have any on your site? do you have a hidden rss feed or something?

I don't promote torrents. Period.

The reason why I'm getting that SE traffic is because I have a small section on the side of my blog that admonishes torrent sites. So the word "torrent" is on there. I didn't realize it would bring in SE torrent traffic that way, so I removed it since it was ruining my bounce rate and there really is no way to monetize it since those surfers are looking for free torrents and nothing else.

Can I just say that I do make money without having to resort to promoting torrents or doing other shady shit like some webmasters feel they have to.

Thanks for responding to my post.

Try promoting anything that has to do with downloads. If they are looking for torrents they are expecting to download something. Throw some download related ads in their face and watch the money roll in!

That traffic is mostly worthless. If you can trade it or get some CPM on it then fine. But they arent buying shit.

selling that traffic or redirecting it would be a better idea. atleast it would give you some money.
