The latest Fire Fox browser
...quit working properly. I uninstalled it and reinstalled but did not fix it. I have gone back to an earlier version and it is working fine. I do not intend to do anymore updates.

It's unfortunate that your Fire Fox browser does not work. Which browser is the best is arguable. Some people say Fire Fox, Internet Explorer, Opera, etc.

The latest Firefox I used is still 3.6, but it's one bloated piece of software. Hopefully 4.0, which I plan on trying, will be better... |

I put 4.0 on one of my laptops and it seems to be a real dog. I don't use it for much but reading or watching video's, so I haven't done much with it. But I won't put it on my work computer yet.
There are some simple things they changed that I just don't understand or like at all. Top of my head, home page icon location, refresh/stop icon location, back button is now only a back button, no history drop down to go back 3 pages if you want. I use all of those regularly and now it's like "fuck they moved it" "fuck they moved it" "shit thats over there now" "dammit there were popups on that page". Guess I'm supposed to get used to it or dig in some advanced options or get a plugin to "fix" these items that weren't broken. |
