searching for a Web host
 

I worked in the adult industry many years ago before transitioning to mainstream web projects in which I use GoDaddy as my host and I have a dedicated server with them. I've been asked to build an adult website now, and I'd like to know if anyone has had positive experiences with GoDaddy as well. Despite their mixed reputation, I've had a good experience with them and have many products through them. If possible, I'd like to keep GoDaddy and maybe the run the adult site off of a virtual dedicated server or similar.

Go and check adult hosting. They have good servers with high speed and lot of bandwidth for porn sites. With a great support, they are suitable for adult sites.

Godaddy are expensive for what you get.

Slicehost / linode are very good for Vps! I dont know if they allow adult.

If you are happy with GoDaddy then your plan sounds good. Start with a VPS located with another host. You can grow that as your site gets larger and builds some traffic.
