We'd like to announce the launch of Meet Profiles and it's inbuilt webmaster program which pays up to $1.50 per free sign up.

Meet Profiles is a completely free adult social network/dating network which is free for users to join and will remain free to use forever. The social network allows people to create a profile, link up with friends, link up with new friends, interact with other users, share media, share links, basically everything that can be done within the most familiar social networks.

We informed a small number of people about this project last week and some of them have signed up and had a play, we encourage anyone who want's to promote it, or participate in Meet Profiles to join here

Meet Profiles contains an inbuilt rewards system. It allows users to earn points by participating on the site, referring friends, interacting with others. Our points system is currently trading at 1 point = 1 cent. Points can be transacted between members as a micropayments system or withdrawn to either Paypal or Paxum accounts once a 10,000 point or $100 threshold is met. Lower points balances may be traded for goods or services which we will begin offering in July. Examples are community ads, t-shirts, DVD's and small consumer items.

For webmasters we offer an inbuilt affiliate program which provides up to $1.50 per free signup. We pay an initial 50 points on referred member signup and then add another 100 points if this user is active within the first month of their membership. In other words if a referred member joins, logs in and never logs in again the payout is 50 points. If the referred member actually uses the site over the next 30 days then the payout is automatically increased to 150 points ($1.50) per member.

To participate in the webmaster program you must also become a member of Meet Profiles. We do not want people promoting something that they have not experienced or used. When you join Meet Profiles you get a 50 point (50 cent) signup bonus. You can obtain your affiliate links inside your Meet Profiles account.

Please remember this is a new Social Network, we may from time to time experience small bugs, we will work hard to stay on top of problems and keep the site running well.

In the future we will allow 3rd parties to offer applications or activities within Meet Profiles. We will also offer in site advertising to companies who wish to target our membership with ads or offers.

We allow Adult Webmasters to use Meet Profiles to promote their own websites, for example by writing blogs, sharing links, videos, images. However anything construed by our admins as spammy will be deleted.

We do not allow fake profiles on Meet Profiles. While it is not always possible to keep fake profiles off a Social Network, we will cancel any affiliate or member accounts where fake or spammy profile activity is detected.

When you say "up to 1.50", what conversion ratios are you talking about here?

The payout amount has nothing to do with ratios, it is 50 points per referred free signup then 100 more points awarded if that member conducts a normal amount of activity on the site over a month. In other words, we will not pay the second component on profiles that join and then don't relog again or do nothing. This is not a pay site, so there are no targets or thresholds that need to be met for example how some sites will drop you back to revshare from PPS if you do not satisfy thresholds.

We're paying for real memberships from real people at a fixed rate.

At first the "test-account" I created didn't impress me much after looking around, then after requesting it be deleted I read more in depth, I like the business model you have and will definitely create an account there, I'm just concerned about Paypal being associated to adult moneys. I see very little users locally, actually, 0 lol However I do understand this is new so I'm hoping this fairs better than other "social" media adult sites.

The wifey and I spend a considerable amount of time on adult network/date/cam sites so I'll sign up using our actual credentials and give it a little test run to see what happens :)

Paypal is a payout option for rewards, not to provide access to the site. There is a difference. We will be pushing Paxum heavily anyway and will try to get our power users to obtain Paxum accounts with associated Mastercards as we plan to have some pretty extensive competitions involving cash and prizes once the membership builds.

To be expected, since the site has been up since midnight Sunday, we won't create fake profiles to give the impression of size, we are happy for it to grow naturally. This is a long term project, it will take time to build. Over the next few weeks we will be introducing some features to keep retention up. As this is a free site that will always remain free, making fake members actually defeats our business model.

Have a play, I would expect it to take some time to reach critical mass however, but that is fine, being free we have all the time in the world.

Oh I understood what the paypal was about, just it being associated to adult in any way is risky. And I will say this. Not using fake profiles is something I have a huge amount of respect for this project about. A lot less of a slap in the face for the end users. I won't name any names but there's a lot I have used in the past and they ALL, every single one of them (even the big mainstream free one), have fake profiles to entice upgrades, to entice users to upload content and to stir the pot to create "activity" on the sites. It's a terrible model to run by just to grow quicker. Customers clue into this behavior and chargeback once they do upgrade to meet these "Fakes" or just plain up and leave the site before even buying anything offered inside. Your site being free and void of trickery will surely stop that kind of behavior and lend a hand in making your site legit to the end users mind.

I don't have a whole lot of dating traffic but I am building new projects daily to pump into the "community" world of dating traffic and I will link up to you anywhere that's organic and appropriate.

One question though, does the referral link allow the person signing up under it to see and be friends with my profile? That would be a great feature to have if not.

I could not agree more, in fact this is one of the reasons why this project was conceived. If we find fake profiles, spam profiles, fraudulent profiles on the site they will be suspended and then auto delete themselves shortly thereafter, the email address will not be able to be used to create another profile on the site again.

I guess a few people will be scratching their heads about our model, I have already had questions like "Is it really free ?" or "How can it be free ?". The simple answer is yes it's free for users, it's free because we have a strategy in place that will allow it to make money without the need to milk users recklessly. We can keep going for up to 2 years before turning a profit if need be - this could even possibly be extended, we're going to keep building the site, adding more features and trying our very best to provide a safe, legitimate and fun adult social network.


We have something coming in July that will provide incentive to promote the site even if you can only refer a few users. I can't comment more on that until agreements are in place but it's going to be good.

That will be an option in the future, we're still ironing out the different little features in the system, however we intend having a profile option that allows people who sign up under your affiliate code to be directed straight to your profile. I would expect to see that implemented within a month. We will also have an option for our adult site reps to have their signup code redirect to their own profile however with an added large banner at the top and bottom of their profile promoting their own sites.

It's early days for us with Meet Profiles, we have alot planned but Rome wasn't built in a day.

We bought and registered several names, and piled them up in a warchest for this project, however at the end of the day, this one, which was one of the ones that we registered came up trumps. It's not easy to find good domains these days and I have this thing about not lining the pockets of the real domain sharks.

Good idea that i have not developed myself because lack of resources and time.

If you can wait those two years without profit, push it a ton and innovate enough, it could mean good long term profit from a huge database of members to who you can sell anything later or just sell advertising space to adult companies (see FB model, i bet that is your idea).

Update: I tried to signup as webmaster but it seems I was sent to the standard member registration form... if there is no difference between webmaster/affiliate and standard member, I have zero interest, sorry.

We're not entirely following the Facebook business model, we have a few innovations that will help monetize the site in a slightly different way. We are going to introduce these over time going forward.

There is no difference, the same points system applies to webmasters and users, we do not really want affiliates who have not used and are not a member of the site. We're different from the normal affiliate model and we like it that way.
