How to LEGALLY get a 3d tv from walmart for $1

Walmart has a no receipt return policy they will give you store credit for returned items. They will give you store credit at current price even if you bought the item on sale because you don't have the receipt they don't know when you bought it.

Many large ticket items they can actually track back by the barcode and see when you bought it and if on sale they will only give you back sale credit so you have to buy hard to tag items.

so
step #1 buy something on sale for $1
step #2 return after sale for store credit
step #3 use store credit to buy something on sale
step #4 go to step #2

if you buy at 50% sales once a week you will have $2000 credit in 3 months

PR_Glen 06-08-2011 11:45 AM

all that time going back and forth you could be working at burger king and just save up for a month or so..

I like free stuff too but shit... hehe

SmokeyTheBear 06-08-2011 11:47 AM

week 1 start with $1
week 2 return for double store credit $2
week 3 return for double store credit $4
week 4 return for double store credit $8
week 5 return for double store credit $16
week 6 return for double store credit $32
week 7 return for double store credit $64

Nice try, but you can only return 3 items with no receipt in one year at Walmart :upsidedow

that is what wives are for :)

bitches are crazy, i had a gf a long time ago who carried around a black crayon in her purse and everytime she bought something she would put a big smudge on it , then ask for a discount at the till.

http://walmartstores.com/7658.aspx

looks like it is 3 items per 45 days and a manager can still process it by discretion.

There are alternatives

1) 3DTV SAMSUNG Series 7 50inch PS50C7000. $1

2) 60in Pioneer Kuro foR a LED 3D TV - $1

:2 cents:

Actually have used this when in high school, some pawn shop had new sealed sony walkmans for 30 but walmart sold for 60.

Gabriel 06-08-2011 12:37 PM

I think Nordstroms has the best return policy, no receipt required and they give cash back. Its a shoplifters dream.

sicone 06-08-2011 12:39 PM

We may need a Anal Hobbit ruling on this one.

well i didn't ever try this and they do have a limit to # of returned items but i would do something expensive like pool chemicals or car parts or something

LiveDose 06-08-2011 01:47 PM

Or spend that time building your business and pay for the third tv. If I had that kind of free time I sure as fuck wouldn't be spending it doing that...

Chris 06-08-2011 01:48 PM

Flawed.

Quote:

Q: Do you track RETURNS, do you place a limit on the number of returns?

A: In the event that a customer has returned more than three items without receipts within a 45-day period, the cash register system will automatically flag the transaction, and a customer service manager or member of management must approve the return. These cash register messages will remain for six months and will disappear if there are no more returns during that time period.
If you are returning with out your proof of purchase they take your ID information and then it is entered into their big brother system at the end of each day but good try?

they changed it a few months or so ago. I bought something that was about 100+ days and went to return it. they said I couldn't because Ive already returned 3 things in a year with no receipt and wouldnt even give me store credit

went back a few days later with my gf (we have same addy) and they wouldnt give it to her either because they look up by address and dl #

walmart is catching on :disgust

PornoMonster 06-08-2011 02:12 PM

WRONG
Walmart gives the LOWEST price it has ever had the item for, if you do NOT have the receipt

BRILLIANT!! This is the 24 weeks-to-retirement program!!

week 13 return for double store credit $4096
week 14 return for double store credit $8192
week 15 return for double store credit $16,384
week 15 return for double store credit $32,768
week 16 return for double store credit $65,536
week 17 return for double store credit $131,072
week 18 return for double store credit $262,144
week 19 return for double store credit $524,288
week 20 return for double store credit $1,048,576
week 21 return for double store credit $2,097,152
week 22 return for double store credit $4,194,304
week 23 return for double store credit $8,388,608
week 24 return for double store credit $16,777,216

After 24 weeks (less than 6 months) your total is about 34 million USD. If you were feeling REALLY ambitious you could do it for a year and then just own the entire Costco Corporation.

Time to head down the street!:thumbsup
