Yeah, i was a little older then Noodles in the movie when I first saw it. I was under huge impression, and one thing that I still remember was his watching after Deborah dancing, staring at her thru the hole in the toilet with a jaw dropped down... Just saw some other movie today with Jennifer Connelly, and some search results brought me to the real Noodles, the guy named Scott Schutzman Tiler ( http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0863226/ ), hello, hey, turns out he is teaching nowdays, works as a coach: http://www.scotttiler.com/

It rings a bell for me when i see him and Max walking the streets in Brooklyn recalling the movie scenes:
