I see that PimpRoll is now giving away full-lenght videos at PORN.com... WTF?

their content, they can do what they want with it. full length videos bring more traffic.

Lol at "now".They doing it since they started it.

Seems like a very dumb move to me. They want to bring their revenue per visitor down to < $0.007 from a few cents just to hope to get more bookmarkers. :/

But their SD video quality is too high to give it away for free, if I were an average surfer I wouldn't signup for HD video access, just bookmark it for future wanking...

With the ad's that appear on the streaming scene pages, it seems as if they have been moving PORN towards more of a tube model.

You could always switch over to promoting Download Pass (no streaming vids or ads, but its robots.txt file disallows indexing of pages with affiliate ID's) and Mega Site Pass - though both use canonical linking.

I really like PimpRoll, but their pervasive use of robots.txt files to dissuade indexing of page links containing affiliate IDs, canonical linking, and nofollow link attributes has prompted me to limit my linking mainly to their galleries. If I feel compelled to link directly to one of their sites I usually end up putting a nofollow rel tag on the link because the site uses one of the practices mentioned.

Also there are no ads when a surfer comes in via a link code.

When I follow that and click any of the thumbs pointing to the videos I see 3 ads towards the bottom - two from trafficforce bookending one from AFF.

While we're on the subject - are there a limited # of full scene free previews before the visitor gets a 'you must join to see more' type of message as there once was?

Make sure you have consoles turned off in your linking codes or your surfer gets a porn.com popup without your code. What do you think they end up doing?

but will they? you go back 10 years ago and everyone and his mother signed up as affiliates to make this big porn money. Most have dropped out and not many have replaced them. I don't think many people will buy the "easy porn money" next time.
