Family Jewels... WTF???
So I guess in this season Shannon decides to leave Gene... I can understand why she would... I mean she already could live well off on her own celebrity... She should have left years ago...
But now my GF of 17 years is watching the show, seeing what I do for a living and thinking she is "connecting" with how Shannon feels? FUCK YOU FAMILY JEWELS!!! |

Dude!! Thanks for the heads up. Will take that shit off of the TIVO now. When women try and relate with TV Drama queens, its always no good for the man. Seen that shit happen before. |
TIVO updated... thx g.

GF for 17 years?
|
Great its going to end in Marriage.
Poor Gene. Poor VRocks. She is going to get you dialed in bro. |
Like she will ever leave her meal ticket.it's a pr stunt

That show is so scripted.

I mean seriously, like anything women do is not pre-scripted... no need to feed the beast... |

Never watched... :pimp

I feel your pain. I have been hearing about that show, and the various interviews since, all fucking week.
Women "drawing connections" is a fraction of the pain from this show and the interviews. Having to endlessly listen about his kids and their comments, and this 'Shannon', and her fucking feelings. Goddamn. :disgust |
GF of 17 years and no ring? I would be thinking whats up if the roles were reversed myself
|
We have both been married so the whole gotta get married thing is like.. Why?
|
ratings must be down.

I'm on 12 years myself with the same woman. I have no intention of ever getting married. :pimp |
To each their own. I am getting married for my second time next year. I guess it's more of a person preference. I've seen it work both ways.
As for Shannon... she put sup with alot of Gene's stupidity. I am sure its a culmination of things. |
She's come off as sounding perpetually obsessed with the idea all along.
I think though that if Gene suggested they hit vegas at noon for a quickie wedding and then home for dinner, she'd probably throw a vase at him. |

What he signed up for when they had gotten together, and what she agreed to, has worked for 28 years. You can't change the rules at the 30 year mark and expect your partner (Gene) to not have some resistance. She is unreasonable. :disgust Maybe he should ask her to stop blowing $30,000.00 on a single shopping trip with her sister as they've done many times on that show? Take away all of her credit cards and access to money and say, "It's time for a change". I know I have let you do whatever you want with out cash up to this point. But now I am going to 'change' all that. You have to live off of $500.00 a week. :thumbsup |
Haha... word!
But if I were Shannon I would have left long ago after perhaps #2 cheating I caught him doing. You don't have to be married to get half. If you have kids and you played a large role in raising them, you might as well be married. Of course she should have done this back when the kids were 6 and 9... Then she could have gotten a shit ton of cash. |
Ya no shit, my girl looked at me after seeing the commercial and said "So in five years when we hit 17 years together, is that going to be me?" FML.
Someone please get that show cancelled so I can watch The Glades in peace without my girl pestering me about marriage. |
That's all faked for the cameras. Nothing more than scripted TV.

I had told my GF if it (money/security) really meant that much to her if we had kids, and all of the rest over 20/30 years that we can go to the lawyer's and work up a civil settlement if she wanted. We would simply work out a fair arrangement should something happen in regards to assets (live a pre-divorce settlement). Then she could have peace of mind and I would not have to be bothered with the 'marriage' bullshit. Same goes for Gene. I doubt he would be a jerk off. He has a ton of money, and should or would probably give her (willingly) half of his assets she actually cared about. House, car, money, etc.. |
Best way to prevent any type of show addiction is to shut down tv :)

LOL you guys crack me up..bunch of bro's in the Mancave watching reality shows and gossiping like chicks over their soap opera's.
Gene Simmons is a Marketing/Brand genius. And Shannon walking off Joy Behar the other nite...umm..."scripted".. Winning! Oh btw..no I don't watch reality shows. I watch Nancy Grace :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh -giving the shit, -L |
Funny... your girlfriend is trying to tell you something, tell you that she's having doubts about the relationship and you're blaming a TV show. That's a pretty revealing thing. I'm on her side.
