Slacks with the "Dry clean only"

What happens with these if I just wash them? I can't be dry cleaning them all of the time... I bought them a few years ago at Dillard's for $299 and I figure that means they'd cost $50 anywhere else..... so they shouldn't be good enough to require dry cleaning, should they??

My lady friend thinks she can wash them on a gentle cycle, and I don't see why the hell not...

Juicy D. Links 06-20-2011 09:57 AM

ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh just send em to the cleaners

or the next thread we will see is

buy a dry cleaning machine off craigslist. do your own.

BFT3K 06-20-2011 09:58 AM

$299 for a pair of pants?

I have a great pair of socks I can sell you for only $100, and they are machine washable.

I'll even throw in free shipping!

I had too much money back then.. and I tried them on and liked them :1orglaugh
I'm not usually a sucker like that, but back then I would pay any price for comfort.

I was so spoiled that if I had left a car out in the summer time I made my woman go out and start the a/c before I'd go out. :1orglaugh

I am actually glad that I learned how to not be a spoiled clown! :thumbsup

Back then... what are you, 100 years old?

Comfort? Did they have padded knees? Are they made of sheep scrotum?

Idiot. :2 cents:

B.Barnato 06-20-2011 10:53 AM

Bro, this story, it is cool.

CDSmith 06-20-2011 12:57 PM

Sorry to have to be the one to tell you, but according to the official mancode handbook "Real men don't wear slacks." (Rule 41, subset C, under title "ManClothing")

You are dangerously close to having your mancard revoked.

I think that's already happened.

@Mr. Maxwell:

Your expensive "slacks" are old. Just go buy a new pair of pants.

Harmon 06-20-2011 01:14 PM

Persius 06-20-2011 01:16 PM

don't put expensive slacks in the washing machine.. will come out shitty.. find dry cleaners u can do it for as low as 1-2$ now days .. search yelp.

Tom_PM 06-20-2011 01:23 PM

Buy some Woolite and hand wash them or spot wash them in a clean sink and hang to dry I would guess.

I love wearing slacks

My mancard will never expire

I ain't even in the business, or a decent part of the country and I still got a foxy submissive broad with a nice ass to spank and good blowjobs all over the place

Don't even worry about my man card

And slacks, I love wearing them. I only wear slacks or summer shorts.

Hey, you fuckin' Jayhawker; where in the fuck in Kansas are you going to wear a $300 pair of PANTS?

Wash them on a delicate cycle in cold water, then spread them out on towels and iron gently when done.

REAL men do their own damned laundry!

I use old shit like that as my GARAGE UNIFORMS when I work on my old cars!

But I ain't NEVER paid $300 for a pair of PANTS!

What a fuckin' waste!

Chosen 06-22-2011 01:51 AM

Just try it and then tell us what happened :pimp

tabasco 06-22-2011 01:53 AM

I've had a few jobs that required suits so I've got a LOT of slacks, dress shirts, suit jackets etc that are dry clean only. After spending $20 a week for someone to tell me my dry cleaning won't be done until 3 days after I need it, I just stopped having them cleaned. Febreezed them one in awhile, was careful not to spill anything on them, now they just hang in the closet as I have a job where I wear jeans haha.

I would absolutely NOT machine wash anything that is labeled dry clean only. There are ways you can do it yourself (google: dry cleaning bags) which will save you money and you can do it on your own schedule. It's a good way to fuck up a pair of pants you paid good money for.

Agent 488 06-22-2011 07:17 AM

he lives in a hobo while hotel eating his cum all day while wearing 300 dollar slacks.

pretty much sums up this guys life.

CaptainHowdy 06-22-2011 07:30 AM

If you're wondering what's keeping you "down" the answer is in those stupid concerns you have...

I am NOT a kansan. Much less would I care about sporting events enough to be considered to be a "jay hawker".

"Real men do laundry" sounds like something I would hear from the women in kansas. (Along with "real men let me play them for all of their money" and "real men beg for sex" and all of that normal man shit)

Everywhere else I go, there are women who enjoy doing that kind of thing. I even managed to find one in kansas, now.

That is absolutely incorrect. I have someone to do that for me, thank you :thumbsup

Doug E 06-22-2011 12:58 PM

I think Anal Hobbit should weigh in on this. He knows a lot about laundry and stuff.

ottopottomouse 06-22-2011 01:54 PM

Dry clean just means no water.

Wash them in 190-proof Everclear.

Something also heard in Kansas. Real men pretend to be chicks.
