Joomla vs. Wordpress vs. PHP

Is there a particular template out there for a typical adult site, with a members login section and then they are able to see videos and pics of exclusive content ?

I'm not finding the right template for Wordpress, but maybe I"m not searching for the right keyword. I have no experience with Joomla or Drupal or those other things, but maybe they have some promise too??

I think a mix of programs might suit you well, if you find a login manager that would integrate into your payment options, maybe then build in your members sections, there are quite a lot of templates out there for wordpress which can be used for tours and for member content sections.

If you don't have any experience in programming, just buy an adult script.

Just search google for 'adult paysite script', there are plenty of it.

Joomla's script is highly unstable in comparison to WP. I've installed it, and had it hacked within a week. Even after installing the recommended security plugins.

WP on the other hand has far more secure platform IMO. Which is why I have converted all my sites over to WP.

Thanks this is all good info for me

Depending on your needs and your plans for growth you may be able to get by with WordPress...at least for a little while.

If you're serious and are looking for something with more pay site specific features your best bet is to look at a system like ours that was developed specifically for adult. The main difference is that aside from just being able to build a site you'll get things like automatic video conversion/encoding to Web and mobile formats, mobile and iPad compatibility, VOD, tour and trial area management and other things you'll want for a serious pay site business.

My only advice is do your homework. There are a lot of people in this space marketing crap scripts and products that haven't been updated in 3-5 years. Make sure whatever you get has a long track record in the important areas and is giving you the best possible product and support. Otherwise it will just set you back and cost you more time and money.

If you have questions or want a live walkthrough of what Elevated X offers feel free to email, ICQ or give me a call anytime 800-690-9277 ext 1

Good luck with your venture!!

Wordpress is what I would recommend. There are templates all over the place to use with it. To get what you are looking for, you might have to purchase a template or two but they are out there. Are you building this site from scratch or do you have a layout you are just trying to convert to a newer look?

buy a paysite script . Its the best and the easiest option you have.
