where a guy came back from a space mission to Mars...

back one earth he puts on his space suite and starts fighting crime....

since the space suite wasn't really designed for that he later gets another 'space suite', but one that was designed for the military....

oh... and his 'mentor' gets killed, but has his 'mind' uploaded into some kind of computer....
